Well Well well!!

If you are stuck in a mission and do not know how to continue, this is the place to ask for help. Missing that elusive Level 10 Shield? Don''t know where to find the lost Ohtori ship? This is the only place where spoilers are allowed!

Well Well well!!

Sorry for the Spoiler:-)

Still thinks the SP story lacks fantasy. Still I can't figure why the Nomads are still in the game, and their weapons possible to rob, but not to install. I also thinks that it should be possible to enter all jumpgates, otherwise they should'nt be there. Also the the missions lacks fantasy and vararity. Will there be an addon? If there will be please consider making a larger universe.

Yes, i got the message!

I'm uninstalling the game and returning it, in return for a more lasting game. 15 hours gaming is too short. And the totally frustrating end, still sit in my guts. Shame on you!

Why?

Good luck on finding that more fulfilling game. They don't exist anymore.

Also, do you really think anyone here cares that you're returning the game?

Larger universe? How many do you want 100+? And have you rushed while playing the SP campaign? Well, it's your money anyways...

15-25 hours isnt at all unusual for a game nowadays. Allied Assault, Jedi Knight, ST Voyager, all in that braket, and I didnt feel too ripped off.
I was however expecting considerably more from this game. Morrowind, Sim City 4 etc are all 100s of hours.

Well, one could argue that the SP story is only a part of the SP game. After one has finished it, it's not unlikely that he'll keep doing missions and fly around to finally collect all that nifty class8-10 equipment, ships, guns... you get the idea. If one counts that time too, then Freelancer will be somewhere in the region of 30-40 hours.

Hmmm, ok I must admit that doing random missions feels a bit dull after you just saved mankind and I too somehow longed for a bit more - maybe something like a second story arc after you hit a very high level. 40 might be a nice spot. Well, we can still hope for an expansion - the story basically screams for one.

signing off,

i finished the sp in about 19 hours. i explored when i could found some pretty good trade runs, got some very good equip. for my ship and now im off to explore the rest of the systems that i havent been to. if you could'nt get into the game then i feel sorry for you because you are missing out.

You know it is not hard for them to make more content.. esp more missions. all the graphics are done using the ingame engine, not movies... So it would be a small download to create a whole new story line. and have it as an update

Hate to break this to you, but the storyline isn't all this game has to offer. In fact, that's only part of it. It's about exploration, and discovery. I still get giddy with sheer joy when I find a new jumphole, or a new base with pirates to blow up. I can't kill the bases, but it's till fun to make torpedo runs at them, or just blow their turrets off. Done that many times, still get a kick out of it. So many ships, I haven't tried half of them. I'm currently lost in the border worlds because I can;t figure out how in the hell to get the Rheinland space, through normal jumpgates that is... now I'm in Kusari. Cool, but frustrating, yet strangely rewarding...

Oh well, if you don't like it, then don't waste your money. Find something simpler to play, like Pong.... J/K

Good luck with whatever you purchase. I really hope you enjoy it.

Come on over to the Dark Side y'all...it'll be a hoot[!

Good points everyone,

I still think something is missing, the missions are boring, often two missions take place on the same spot. Maybe there should be some protect and escort missions. There is something wrong in the ship leveling, the difference between the ships is too unnoticeble, it should be more like the good old Privateer, that you save money up, for a long time before you are able to buy a new and better ship. Also the level/stat system is wrong, because Freelancer is too easy, the money checks in very quick, and by this you quickly get the best. Why not make the leveling missionbased, with number of killed enemies? Also smuggling should be an option, that is more that is pressent now. It should be possible to live as a freelance smuggler.
