Omega 41!
If you are stuck in a mission and do not know how to continue, this is the place to ask for help. Missing that elusive Level 10 Shield? Don''t know where to find the lost Ohtori ship? This is the only place where spoilers are allowed!

How do I get here alive?! I went to Omega 11, and DAMN, the place is SURROUNDED with Hessians. I can't get through, and when I try to leave, every single one if them gun for me. Any tips on how to get through?
Comments like this make me laugh. Gimme a break...this game is absurdly easy.
Okay, so now I can get into Omega 41. Only to find that it's absolutly flanked with Hessians in sabres. This is IMPOSSIBLE. I don't have the money to buy a better ship, and I'd have to go back a LOOOOOONG way to do it.
I've been playing about 7 days...I now have one of the best ships in the game, class 8 and 9 weapons, class 9 shield, and half a million credits. I used no exploits or cheats, and much of my time was spent simply exploring.
After level 12 or 13, the game gets very very easy. You can make 35 or 40k a mission easy (I did it in Bering, but there are several places you can do this). Oh, and all on a 56k connection. It's not that hard. As I recall that area has a huge asteroid field...easy to dodge cruise disruptors in those. Just run right past them.
It can indeed be hard to get there. I died once getting from Omega-11 to Omega-41 and that was only because I went left after taking 11->41 Jump Hole, and ran in to the most lethal cloud I've ever seen in this game. However I'd recommend using a class 7-8 Graviton-based shield, and some GMG Skyblast A guns since Hessians use Positron-based shields. Once you get there, head south on the map and look for a large Asteroid. Should be Leon Base. Oh you need to be at least nuetral with the Corsairs, accomplished by killing Hessians...lots of Hessians. Do not run from the Hessians, they will use disruptors if you try to cruise, and boosters will not shake them, not to mention you'll waste your shield bateries by the time you turn around and attempt fighting =P Now that I'm in there, I've been doing $235k missions with ease. If you're going there with a Freighter, expect to die swiftly.
Yeah damn hard in these regions
Damn Noobs, they follow you really everywhere ....
And than even from the navy, those suckers are really everywhere ...
Yes, even me was once a noob ... on my way to kill corsairs for some money in omicron theta ...
For those that do not recognise the system where those pictures are taken, its omicron theta, near freeport 9.

if you constantly get killed by NPCs, you must either be doing something really wrong, or need to upgrade your ship. For one account, I upgraded once to the defender, and I was okay till I upgraded to transport, then to the VHF. Yes, I flew all the way to Malta and back in a defender, and it was a smooth trip since I happened to be neutral to everyone (slaughtering navy + cops in Liberty space is easy and quick).
Reaching the border worlds shouldn't be that bad unless you travel both alone, in a vastly weaker ship, and have pissed off the hessians something awful. Try killing police or rheinland navy if you still have trouble; that may alleviate your pirate woes. Barring that, you could tag along with a high lvl player.
