The shield is not in-game. You have to edit the ini to make this available. The Ripper mine deployer is available at Freeport 10 in Tau-37 and the mines are everywhere. Don't know about the Sunslayers. Hoik!

The Sunslayer Torpedo is available at Bruchsal Base (BUNDSCHUH), Frankfurt System, Rheinland.

i just went to freeport 10 ... there is no Ripper mine deployer there??? .. =P

If you scan Very Heavy Fighters, you can see those Champion class-10 shields being used, but you can't get them -- and they have like 2K more protection than the Adv. Brigandine shields that can be purchased; but, if you look at their stats, they have a regen of only 1. So, maybe they've got massive protection to compensate for their terrible regen rate? Then again, they may have just been intended for use by AI ships as a play-balancing thing.

You get the ripper mine droppers from certain shipwrecks. I think from the Old Imperial Navy Fighters in Sigma-13, or maybe it's the Outcast fighter tomb-ships in Omicron Alpha. Those crafty Outcasts using the Nomads as "guardian spirits" to watch over their fallen warriors and their prized possessions... creepy.

hmmm just went omicron alpha ...... killed a few nomads ... didnt get any nomad weapon drops! =( .... sad ....

no ripper mine deployers from the tombs either .... in fact, those outcast ships dont drop anything ....not for me anyway

was at sigma-13 last time ... no ripper mine deployers there either ... =( ..

I saw another comment about level requirements for class-10 gun drops elsewhere, so it's possible something like that may apply to the ripper as well. In my case, I didn't go exploring in the Omicron sectors or hunting shipwrecks until I'd maxxed my level with trade-runs after completing the story. Oh, and in the MP game, once a wreck has dropped its stuff for someone, it won't drop it again until the server is restarted.

Make sure you search Sigma-13 thoroughly. There is a cluster of fighter wrecks inside an explosive gas area, and some other isolated wrecks in the radiation area near the Junker station.

the Adv. Brigandine shields: where can i find this shield??

i only entered the omicron systems when i reached level 38 ... doesnt matter now .. ive gone hunting nomads in omicron gamma and they seem to drop 1 blaster/cannon out of every 4 fighters i kill ...

... ive thoroughly examined all the sigma 13 wrecks .. =) .. still no ripper deployer

are you sure the wrecks re-drop the weapons in MP when the server is restarted? my friend's server has been restarted and stil no new guns =( ...

The adv brigandine class 10 shields can be found in either omicron alpha or gamma .... on the outcast/corsair planets .....cant miss it ...

oh yeah .. im also looking for a Class 10 turret .. anyone found one??

I've been able to find the Sunslayer Torps (as per suggested by Noelho), and I've found the Ripper Mine Launcher in Omicron Alpha as suggested in another thread.

Thought I'd repost this here which I posted in another thread:

"BTW... just so people know, according to the guide there are three lvl 10 shields which are from lowest to highest: Adv. Brigandine HF (Positron, 8280 cap, and 184 regen), the Adv. Barrier HF (molecular, same stats as the Brigandine), and the Adv. Champion HF (gravitron, 11038 capacity, and 245 regen).

Now, of course, the guide has been wrong on a number of occasions (such as the pricing for the Titan ship is off by 100,000Gs), and it's been said that the Adv. Champion HF is used on some ships, and has a regen of 1. If anyone can settle this let us know. At least let me know cuz then I can stop searching for the damn things! LOL.."

Anyways, if it's true that you can't get them then I'm giving up the search. Hope you guys have better luck.
