Does everybody hate me???

If you are stuck in a mission and do not know how to continue, this is the place to ask for help. Missing that elusive Level 10 Shield? Don''t know where to find the lost Ohtori ship? This is the only place where spoilers are allowed!

Does everybody hate me???

I just come from Crete with a load of artifacts. I stopped at Yanagi Depot to unload the artifacts and took on a full load of engine parts. I'm not even out the door of Yanagi when a Junker tells me to drop my load. Well, being in a Titan, I had a Blue Haze and Diamond Back answer for Mr. Junker. I quickly put him away and the whole world turned RED including Yanagi Depot. I fought my way to the New Berlin jump hole. Out the other side I was imidiately jumped by Red Hessians. I took care of that bunch and set course across the system heading for Omega 11 or 41 and again everything go's RED. Gates, Navy, Police, GUL, Republuicans, Hessians, and seemingly anyone else who was in the system at the time.
I finally gave up and loaded a saved game and tried again. This time I ran from the Junker. Again, Yanagi Depot turned RED but I got away and left the system through the Sigmas. The three Tau Systems were no picnic, but that's another story.
So? What did I do wrong to get the whole universe Red?

If you were nearlly hostile with the Junkers, your attacking and killing the Junker Pirate could do it. Also, if you shot the base or other ships allied with the Junkers (even by accident), that could do it as well. That alliance shift (with the Junkers) and possibly one with the Corsairs since you last visited Rhineland, could be enough to shift your neutral factions to hostile with quite a number of other factions.

I'm just guessing since I don't know what exactly happened or where your factions stood prior to this shift.

BTW, why would you stop and sell artifacts at Yanagi when New Berlin is only minutes away? The profit difference is almost 800 cr per unit!

Use the F8 key. Checkout your status with each group. A group has to be 4 boxes and a little bit from the at most red to be neutral. (4 1/8 clear boxes on the left)

Click on the people in the bars to see if they can bribe each group to like you. Also avoid fighting anyone who is red if you can. I think in a Titan Junkers could shot at you all day and do nothing.

It is possible to get everyone neutral but this won't stop people from wanting your cargo.

Also in Multi play I noticed you have to land somewhere in that same system to make people your neutral or even on good terms with reset.

That happened to me as well. Just now. I was on my way through Liberty and all of the sudden everyone went red. That followed me all the way into Omega-11. I was Level 36 when it started and ended it at level 30 because I ran from it instead of killing the cops and stuff.
The stranges thing about it is if I went to a new system and initiated a dock with a station it would, in the middle of me docking, turn hostile and fire at me while I docked. So strange. Ruined the game. Going to have to start over now.
