edge world systems

Just curious to know about a few of the edge world systems. SIgma-13, tau-31, tau-29 and tau-23 are directly on the map in plain view. But do I need to find the rest of the edge world systems through jump holes or something?

You have to put in a little effort exploring in order to find some jump holes. Look in some of those clouds. Also if you go into a cloud and suddenly 9 or 10 Outcasts or Corsairs come after you, you might be near a jump hole.
