SP makes me quit...

I really don't feel like going through that single player mess all over again. I love how they force you into waypoints and don't allow you to dock with other stations or trade lanes. Currently I have two saves, but I'm stuck on this one long ass mission after you get kicked out of liberty. I escaped to some station with a doctor friend. Why we ever stopped at that station I don't know since the guy was useless and all it allowed for was the NPC's to "catch up" to us when I had a good god damn lead on them from the previous escape mission. Now, because she interuppted my normal trading, I have no money and I'm in a frieghter with 110 beryllium which I can't dump off anywhere and no nano/shi-batts and I have to fight like 20 rheinland freighters....friggin joy. Makes me want to quit instead of play through it again.

Unfortunatly, you were not aware that you can ignore the SP campaign until you are "ready" for it. You are still at a decent spot. When Juni contacts you, ignore her, do missions for cash, fly around, get a freighter and make some money.

Juni will wait.....

Not totally certain, but she tells you to meet her in the bar, and lost of best trade stuff is sold in Manhattan. Think you can still trade there even with mission pending, just don't go into the bar. could be wrong though. some missions pick up as soon as you dock with planet.

She may have waited at other points, but not at this point. We've already fled liberty and I can't go back at the moment, probably mission 7 or 8 and all jump points except the one she sets are locked, can't dock with anything but the trade lane she wants me to...

Well..if you don't want to start all over again..and there is no chance you can make it.. cough*cheat*cough... ahum..
Make youself invincible or give yourself a ****load of cash. But offcourse reset it back to normal after you are save again. Otherwise you'll loose all feeling for the game. :p
But if i remember correctly, at some point the missions/storyline will just continue to the end without giving you a break for earning money. So be sure to have lots of cash in your pocket before picking up the storyline again. Oh and alway's pressing B after a kill helps too with earning cash and better equipment.

After Mactan base, you are free to ignore Juni. After you go to the battleship Hood, you are trapped again.

You might want to just reload the game while you are at Mactan base and fly with her to see your friend. After you see your adoptive father figure (!), ignore Juni as long as you want. You should be level 9 right there and can buy the Britannia Heavy Fighter (the flying fish, its ugly but gets the job done) or you can buy the britannia freighter and do some relativly safe trade runs that can get you around 25,000+ credits or do some missions for the local police in the flying fish.

When Juni contacts you, ignore her as long as you want....
