I cant find the jumpholes/jumpgates.

If you are stuck in a mission and do not know how to continue, this is the place to ask for help. Missing that elusive Level 10 Shield? Don''t know where to find the lost Ohtori ship? This is the only place where spoilers are allowed!

I've just finished the SP part in Freelancer, yester day i went around the universe got some class 10 weapons from stigma 13.3-e or something, and then i need a ship that can use class 10 weapons, but anyway.

My problem is; I downloaded the universe map. and i spotted som systems i never heard of; Border worlds, Corsair and Edge world systems, it might be some more systems i dont know about.

So I need help to find my way into those system.

Thanks.

Good places to start are Tau 31 and Sigma 13, which you can enter from Leeds/Honshu. But, really, it's dead simple - follow the patrol paths on your navmap.

Agree, Patrol path following is the best way to find jumpholes and bases. Most jumpgates are along trade lanes. Is a couple sectors they are under construction, some areas have no jumpgates, and have to rely on jumpholes. But if you are not at least neutral with hessians, corsairs, bounty hunters, and outcasts, some of these jumpholes could be quite deadly.

Many, many times it's a safe bet there's at least one jump hole in any cloud or debris field and whatnot. It's not a guarantee, but it's usually where they pop up. I guess the turbulent surroundings give a boost to the violent natural event that spawns a random jump hole.

Also, with only a handful of exceptions, the jumpholes only occur between two systems joined by a jum gate, except for the systems with no jump gates, and the unknown systems and a few others. But for the most part....
