Zoner reputation bug?

So I was just fooling around in Hudson near the Xeno base killing waves and waves of Xenos for kicks, and I looked at my reputation list, and the Zoners have gone from being neutral to me to hostile! So I kept killing some more Xenos and sure enough my Zoner reuptation kept going down! Now this shouldn't be happenening right? Anyone else encounter this bug?

Yeah, for being allied to none they sure take offense to killing pirates....

What I believe is happening is that the Zoners do not tolerate ANY killing for very long, as for me it was killing Kusari police and then GC. Both times my rep took a dive.

The strategy for this is to bribe them before you kill anyone...then the change should be slow and your rep should drop only from friendly to neutral. Then go back and bribe them again and your rep will be fixed. The cool thing about the zoners is that bribing them doesn't affect your rep with anyone else....

Exact same thing happened to me too. I stopped before they got all pissed, though. Xenos definitely seem to be the way to improve your faction with almost everyone else.

I noticed this myself, although too late to do anything about it. Anyone know how to bump up your rep with the Zoners once their Hostile? Seems like it would be impossible, since they have no allies or enemies.
