I'll have more on this in a little bit. As I'll be posting the news article online shortly. My guess since I've experimented with the shipyard as well is that you need to find this engine just as you find all the other good stuff in the game. And I believe the requirement as stated in the article is only for Corsair ships. So a good start would probably be that Corsair graveyard near the Unknown jump.

u just cant find the equip in the news coz adding new equip to the game need to change the system of the game.

Been to both shipyards and crete, nothing like this for sale, hmm, but might try going to tripoli and buying all the thrusters they offer, then install one ata time and see if it has any affect. Have looted every ship around unknown jump and no thrusters. Figure if it was true, someone would have found it out by now, either by blind luck, or one of the ini file guru hacks.

Nope, just a rumor. Though it's probably one of those "well it was going to be an included feature" thing, as there are pieces of code in the .ini files that look like things such as engines, scanners, etc. were originally planned to be buyable and equipable through more hardpoints.

Upgrades like those were originally planned, but were later taken out. Hopefully, someday, someone will find a way to mod them back in.
