Oh yeah and can you blow up battleships in MP or not I tried the Battleship Rio Grande but it wouldnt explode.

Omicron Major and Omicron Minor are systems you only get to visit during the SP campaign. No jump holes or jump gates link them to the rest of the Sirius systems.

And no, you can't kill battleships or stations around planets.
