beating the experimental ships help.

i can't beat them. as soon as i get close to destroying just 1 of the 6 ships. they blast off and the mission is a failure. what do i do. how, why, where, when, who. all the answers i can get is muchly appreciated.

plus i have the beta version. if that makes a difference.

I just finished this mission.

As soon as you blow up the first experimental ship, start boosting away. When a Nav Point appears, immediatly go toward it at Cruise speed. This should get you out of range for the explosion.
