Planet Gaia

Is there any way to get down to the surface of Gaia, either in single player or multiplayer? (Preferably the latter )

The description said something about Cambridge University controlling access, and tourist visas, but didn't give a clue as to how to get access from either source.

No, if there's no landing ring then it's impossible to get down there.

The planet's information screen says that travel to Gaia is strictly regulated, so I would guess no.

I suppose this should be in editing, but if one were to add a docking ring, and the necessary rooms, you could land on Gaia quite easily, actually. It wouldn't be anything fancy, but you could still do it.

Say, copy the landscape of one of the vacation planets, like Curacao... That would look appropriate, I think.

(edit: I suppose I might be wrong in that, since I'm assuming it would be just the same as adding new planets/systems. I apologize if I am, of course.)
