what does non hacked means?
I only know you can got it from corsair bases...like Leon and Crete

Planet Malta in the Omicron Alpha system also has a L10 Adv.Brigandine shield. Gotta be neutral with the Outcasts though.

Where do you go to bribe the Outcasts?

I was scanning ships and the Bounty Hunter C10 shields seem to have the highest shields and the highest regen rate though it is a molecular shield. I think the shields were approx. 12367 shields.

Corsairs have the adv Brigadine lvl 10 Positron shields
Bounty hunters have the lvl 10 Molecular Shields - I can't find where you get these but the hammerheads they fly have them
Outcasts have the Adv Champion lvl 10 Graviton shields - Anyone know which base/system!?!

like most people i've spoke to or seen on forums they can only get the positron ones

before anyone flames me back..i meant the ships have these..of course you can get brigadines on malta.

If someone can tell me where to get lvl 10 gravitons from i'd be most grateful!

I was of the understanding that the difference between Positron, Graviton and Molecular shields is of what weapons your enemies are using.

Is there a BEST Shield u can always equip in the game even though your enemies are like carrying the weapons that work MOST EFFICIENTLY against your shields?

As far as 'best' shields go, I find that's mostly a question of mathematics - basically, the 'best' shield is the one that is strongest against the weapons that do the most damage. For example, a shield that's strong against lasers eventually loses it's value because laser weapons, by themselves, do relatively little damage. I don't have the game infront of me, so I can't give you the exact breakdown of what shield does what, but something that is strong against Plasma or Tachyon weapons usually serves the best - it helps cut down on the ungodly damage those types of weapons do, and the loss of protection against lasers and the like doesn't hurt much.

the other 2 c10 shields apparently cant be gotten as it hasnt been enabled inside the game, but you could always try to hack

Need to get some Graviton or Molecular shields then.....probably Graviton. I seem to see a lot of Molecular effective weapons on enemy ships.

Well folks, I'm sitting on Planet Malta in the Omicron Alpha system.

This is an Outcast base and they're selling an Advanced Brigandine lvl10, and it's a Positron shield. Someone posted that a positron shield would be useless (or some other equivalent word); why would that be? It costs loads.

Guess I'll have to take the scenic route and visit Omicron Beta and Tau23, they both have Outcast bases. Perhaps one of them has some other lvl10 shield available.
