Beware: Gamers are typically Addictive by Nature

If you are stuck in a mission and do not know how to continue, this is the place to ask for help. Missing that elusive Level 10 Shield? Don''t know where to find the lost Ohtori ship? This is the only place where spoilers are allowed!

Beware: Gamers are typically Addictive by Nature

As you may feel about yourself, alot of gamers have addictive personalities. I know I do; I long for the the addictive game that keeps me going for days and days, loosing track of time, getting lost in a world of fantasy.

Along with this addictive personality sometimes comes the temptation to read SPOILERS before you've really given a game a shot on your own. The temptation to have everything everyone else has, or get things before your closer friends get them.

Unfortunately, this ends up SPOILING the game for you; hence they call them SPOILERS. It's unfortunate becauses a lot of people don't realize thay are going to spoil it for themselvs; much in the same way that people don't realize hard drugs will end up spoiling their lives.

So anyway, I just thought I'd post this, because I was tempted many times to read alot of these spoilers; but resisted; and I am really enjoying playing this game and exploring and finding these things on my own. I like to read the titles of the spoilers, just to get a hint that there are certain things out there. I rationalize this in my own head as hearing rumors of various ship wrecks, powerful weapons, etc. in the various bars I visit in the different systems. It helps motivate me to go exploring, and suggests that there is in all probability more things out there to be found that no one has yet posted on these forums as well.

Anyway, RESIST THE TEMPTATION, and do yourself a favor.
