I haven't gotten far enough to say for sure, but somewhere on these forums I accidentally stumbled on something a while ago indicating it is explained at some point.

its stranded in omicron alpha. I suggest you find it and learn some stuff about the history of the outcast and corsairs

It's strange. I saw Hispania. There are two planets nearby. Why they are not colonized?

Man, the things they could include in the future...

It's funny the subliminal message this game gives though: they started a new life without any blacks, hispanics, or arabs. lol

Hispania is in Omicron Alpha, near the Outcast base of Planet Malta. Right next to the Hispania is a Viking ship that drops 2 Prometheuses (I think...)
