Stuck after Tobias sent me to buy a ship, plz HELP.

My level is 8.

For the next level I just need to do some money.
Not a problem..

The prob is that Tobias (from Leeds) sent me to New London to buy a new ship.
He gave me some money and told me that he would tell the New London Ship Dealer that I'm coming.

When I come to this ship dealer (on the planet New London) he has only normal ships (nothing special.. i could buy this ship on Leeds!). The question, is this normal? If does, why he sent me to New London if I could buy the same ships on Leeds?

What should I do?

Any help would be appreciated, thanx.

They look the same price to me, I guess it's similar to king saying the equipment dealer on pittsburg always has good deals when they're the same as the rest of the sector.

If you buy a new ship the bounty hunters will lose your track and become neutral again. That's the only point in this. It doesn't matter whether you buy this new ship on Leeds or New London or (as I did) go directly to a bretonian battleship and buy a heavy fighter from the military.

Personally, I went and bought a Dragon. Sweet ship.

You might want to pick up a freighter first and build up some cash though. Not to give anything away, but you're going to need the money and you're at a really good point in the SP game to get it. :-)
