Alaska: any point going there?

After finishing the story, is there any reason to go to Alaska?

If so, how do you get there? The minefield seems impenetrable.

There's nothing there other than what you saw during the SP mission.

Correction, there's nothing there at all... What you saw in the SP will not happen again. (i.e. no president being tied up with kinky alien coming out of a guy's mouth...)

The prison station is still there, you can dock with it and all but it doesn't have anything since it was all a cutscene.

I'm saying you can get to Alaska and dock with the prison station, but it's completely pointless since all the "fun" is in SP.

I think you're full of sxxt, LordZach.
You CAN get to Alaska jumpgate thru minefield but you CAN'T dock w. it cause "access denied"! BTW, you DO know what jumpgate looks like ?-)
You're playing somekind of mod or what ?!
