What is After the Nomads???

If you are stuck in a mission and do not know how to continue, this is the place to ask for help. Missing that elusive Level 10 Shield? Don''t know where to find the lost Ohtori ship? This is the only place where spoilers are allowed!

What is After the Nomads???

Im wondering if there is any more of the MAIN story line left or is the game over at mission 10...

It is an awsome game... there should at least be something to do with the coalition or something...

currently im only at level 21 but i have a ton of cash still...

MIssion 13, not 10. You are free to do whatever you want afterwards. I recommend you just go and play multiplayer. It's a blast!

I really really loved the game... but its kinda a let down if you can beat the game in a week-end... i like the open ending stuff.... but its hard to play a game with no goals... i guess ill take a look at multiplayer but i dunno...

Unbelieavable story line though... can't wait to find out what the coalition will do

Coalition? They're not in the game.

according to freelancer's main plot- life in 'our' galaxy was extinguished shortly after the five sleeper ships left for syrius. so there is no coalition to do anything.
looks like the alliance won after all...

What?! Which plot is that? Coalition died? How? Why? When?
I thought the Sirius sector IS in our galaxy?

afaik, Sirius is in our galaxy. He must have meant that life in ourt solar system was extinguished. In earlier versions of the game, the opening sequence did show that happening, but obviously that was removed from the final game, so I just consider that it didn't happen. They prolly removed it to leave open the possibility of the coalition doing something later.

Really, it's no use looking at the plot of early versions. If one did that, Gordon Freeman would be a retarded lumberjack

I think the "coalition" means by Mys is just the "alliance" of outcasts, lane hacker....sth like that

having just finished the game, it has to be said that it does not seem that the Coalition, or indeed Earth itself, has been destroyed by the Nomads, for the following reasons:

i) all reference to it was dropped, from the intro (although they left Rockford's ship approaching Manhattan), to the more subtle reminders that would have existed in-game. Even if Rockford hadnt made it, they would have seen the Sun go nova.

ii) one of the characters (i think it was Orillion) states that the Rhineland expedition awoke the Nomads; and that the Nomads were weaker than the combined strength of the Four Houses - the only way they could win was by infilitrating the governments and military of the Houses.

iii) was it Chris Roberts said that Starlancer and Freelancer form part of a trilogy. Either we meet the Don-Kavash (sp?) and/or we go back to Earth. IT BETTER NOT TAKE ANOTHER FOUR YEARS.
