LOL, rastafari - not all you posts where deleted.... I've been away for like 1½ day, and things go haywire...

I understood very well what you did, and those over-postivistic "Freelancer ownz everything" posts are nearly as annoying as the "Freelancer suxxor big time"...

I've been called a nazi twice today, partly because you guys encouraged it by testing us.

Apoc, you've been very critical of Freelancer, but on the other hand - when really pressed - you actually admit you like Freelancer very well... I know that Stinger or myself aren't God's Gift in Rethorics and/or communication skills, but on the other hand we do know that if we let this take over, we've lost.

And if we loose, I close this forum down... There is no reason for me WHATSOEVER to pay for this if all I get back is beeing called a despot or taking it quote a few levels worse, a nazi.

And a few things on the latter. What people don't know is that I have a very hard time beeing called that! My grand-father was actually in the German Wehrmacht, and even while it sickens my sole for what the Nazis did, I can not tell you what I would have done, had I lived in that time in Germany.

Also when my parents got divorced, my mother took me at the age of nine to Denmark. I couldn't speak anything but german at the time, so I was singled out in school quickly as an easy target, so I got called every humiliating term there is in any book to call a german person by other youngsters. I got beaten up a few times by a local band in the neighborhood where I lived - just becase I was german - and therefore by definition still in 1981 - a nazi.

I was driven close to suicide, but later on realized that that was absolutly no solution to anything. Instead I worked really hard on my danish, and speak and write today in a way where it is very, very seldom that anybody suspects I lived my first 9 years outside Denmark.

Just to give the next guy to call me a nazi some perspective on that term! What the Nazis did sickens my sole, but how can I have any guilt whatsoever for that?!?

I might run a tight ship here on this site, but this is the only way I know works, and if anybody feels we should just let the site get swarmed, then fine for me... I'll just point to some other site for Forum functionality. The difference between trolling and beeing very critical is hairfine, and recides in the construtivness and arguments of the critical statement.

That was a long rant...

and yes, my "i have been assimilated. Freelancer is excellent." was a form of communication. By posting it threads where people had problems with the game i got my point across that I agree with them without having thier the thread locked, instead, my posts were deleted which was quite a step higher than i expected and in truth really wasnt neccessary lol- it wasnt like that was the ONLY thing i said in those posts...i made other comments too--occassionally.

rastafari, I deleted over 20 posts this morning that said exactly the same thing. Facts are facts, don't attempt to water it down now. You were spamming/flooding with EXACTLY the same post. You post count went from 40+ to 23 in the time it took me to delete all you garbage. Did it once, don't want to do it again and the warning about it still stands.

You know, I think i said it all at the beginning of this post when I said I have ended any hostilities with the admins. Either you cannot read, or you have a really short attention span. Regardless of what I say though you continue to goad and insult. You claim that I am making false statements of victimization; yet the record of this thread stands clear. If anyone reads this topic in this far off forum and has any sense it all they will see that I was right all along.

As for grammar errors? That seems to bother you alot more than it bothers me. I have a earned degree in English and write for a living so I have proven to myself through blood, sweat, and tears that I can use the English language effectively. If you would like to play the part of an anal retentive grammar troll then by all means go ahead- but make sure you ask your high school teacher for some pointers.

And I needed to come back and add this so you can re-read it and think about it: the original topic that I posted in didnt start off as a flame but as an honest post about what I felt was wrong with the game and why I felt cheated at the content; but, it ended in a flame war that was provoked by stinger, the forum "moderator." I understand that you see hundereds of posts just like it on a daily basis. Ive read many of them in the past several days and can understand how that can be frustrating. But, stingers attempt to flame me required me to go on the defensive. Had it been anyone else other than a moderator on the forum I wouldve ignored it.

So, anymore witty comments?
