Thread that get too long

i just thought id mention that threads that are 4 pages long can be hard to follow, i dont know if anyone agrees with me but i thought that i would throw this thought out there...flame away

Guess it depends on what the thread is about. On the other hand, if a thread gets that long, this means sth, doesn't it? I mean, not only that ppl find it interesting, but also that they are actually able to follow it, since they do post replies on the fourth page.
