Forum problem

dunno what you did in the past days but it messed up the active topic function

i dont know since when but i believe its since yesterday
the forum does return topics which were not active since my last visit... not a single post since days
i rechecked it with my notebook and have the same problem there so i doubt that the problem is on my end
either a proc was changed lately, the serverside cookies are messed up or its caused by some weird asp code... dunno

I suggest to recheck it to fix it or if neccessary upload the backups again

As far as I know, no one has changed or edited any files lately except for you (SWAT_OP8R).

I did notice something that has changed in the forums and that is:
image links have been changed, the back bracket shows up as ' > now instead of a left facing bracket.
so instead of {img=fileandlocation} after you post an image it shows up as {img=fileandlocation'>

using { } in the example instead of brackets.

and also it seems to be working for me also.

since i didnt do changes here for quite a time and since i never had any problems in the past 7 years... oh and since this does happen on 2 different machines there must have been something changed by somebody in the past days

the whole active topic functions are showing me threads of the past days, no matter if i visited them already or not

The Active Topics page has always had that problem. It's a cookie issue, and unless you broke something I fixed last year it should be fine for most people. Every once in a while it will get a little funky for some people but it usually clears up.

I think I have fixed that {img} code problem BP. I have also added a new List BBCode to the other two I have already implemented.

{*}blah{/*}
{/list}

{center}blah{/center}

{u}blah{/u}

Any other BBCode requests?

deleted the cookies from my PC - still the same problem
