Shouldn''t The Welcome to TLR Forum Be First To Present?

The Welcom forum is a good idea, I'd say but shouldn't it be the first one that displays instead of at the bottom as it seems to be at present. Or is it because I use Firefox?

it is displayed on teh top.

well i think having that on top is a good idea, because thats teh first thing new people will see when they scroll down. so they wont just see off-topic and put their welcome thread there automatically. (wolfy? thinking logic! isn't this somehting different!)

As it is an "other " topic, it would need to be near OT. Hopefully, it will see a lot of New trafic and get some new folks off to a good start.

It isn't off topic, it is THE topic isn't it?

I think it should have pride of place at the very top of all Forums listed.

<Edit>

D'Oh! Never mind. It's already been done.

We all noticed that some time ago, but were too polite to say anything .

A not for those posting in the new forum. Welcoms for the new foolk, answers to questions welcome, but, it is not off topic. To keep the new persons thread from getting spammed , spam replies will be deteted. If you post a thread more suited for off topic, it will be moved. The reason is to keep it clean and friendly to any new people to TLR. There won't be any locked topics, as spam flames get deleted or edited, and wrong location topics by regulars will be moved to the right forum. This is not to be unfriendly to regs and vets, but to provide a welcoming place for new people and help them get settled in and avoid the nessesity of postin, "This is in the wrong forum" or the "This was dead, no gravedigging " posts. If you can answer a question posted, you are more than welcome to do so. Just limit the "welcome backs" and so forth to the off topic thread please.

Thanks

Michael
