Emoticons

Can we get some emoticons added plz, we really need a crying smiley for Esq and then also a sarcastic smiley, and some others

What are we going to do tonight Brain?
Same as we do every night Pinky, Try to take over the world

i disagree we have enough as it is.. besides if we get to obsessed with them then in real life we will be drawing pictures on paper to express our feelings

well, the sarcastic smiley i think is very importatn, people tend to miss sarcasm sometimes
and we just have to give esq his smiley

A couple more would help, making expression a little easyer and more accurate, like the cying one.

i'd like to see them go altogether. if you think about what youre posting then you shouldnt need emoticons to make the meaning clear.

what about sarcasm?
you know how many times people tend to miss it
or you need a smiley face to show that remark has no sting intended

They do help missunderstanding something that is a cut up as a flame. Though you may write something as a feed back, it may be taken as a flame or as a joke and a wrong replie made, angering both sides. Besides , their fun.

well i guess a sarcastic one would be good! but how would we make it look sarcastic, rolling eyes?

they're not funny, they're just silly. come people don't use them at all. I know I use them occasionally but that's because it's a convention, not because I like using them. they look untidy, garish, and childish. like Disneyland or something.

One or two extra emoticons might come in handy, especially with the proliferation of "chatting" these days *rolls eyes*.

sw - It's not fault; it's just an emotional time for me right now *sniff* .

Now whatever is wrong Esq?

Oh you know, the usual. The fact that I'm still unemployed, world conflicts, my inability to find a decent toothbrush, that sort of thing .

Post Fri Sep 24, 2004 7:36 am

Gee, your teeth are awfully white for someone without a good toothbrush.

Post Fri Sep 24, 2004 9:55 am

hmm Esq, I think I might know how to solve all your problems...

If we could just stop people from putting these emoticons in the subject line it would make my weekend.
