slooooow site?

Anyone else reporting very slow response times on this site? 45 seconds to a minute per page to load. Something is wrong. I've triple-checked all my connections and there is no bandwidth problems on my end at all. Other site load fine, this one....well....

Getting this error sometimes too.

Its taken so long to load that i have not bothered coming back all day long (keep trying, keeps taking too long) as i assumed the site was under very heavy duress/being updated. However, its now been around 8 hours of SLOW loading, when it usually takes under a fraction of a second, its now taking about 15seconds with DSL.......

Have got errors about VB Script i think it was on mod description for evo from front page (was checking download amount to see if we get more playing on servers this weekend or not) but it failed to load properly...........and also noticed that i get two sets of download amounts........one says the correct amount (866 at this time) and the other always says 161 - and this one is seen ALOT of times by me.......not sure if that is also a sign of anything - just thought i'd throw it in for measure

First time its ever been slow for me, the site usually works, or it doesn't (when someone uploading usually i cannot get on), but never S l o w

It might be time to do some housecleaning.

I am going to remove my signature from the files here, maybe everybody removing visual signatures would help?

Definately back up to speed now, I lost all response a couple of hours ago, maybe Gib bounced the server.

One bid reason could be the use of large images inserts.

I'm working on some new forum-code, which I seriously hope will improve things here!

Damn! I posted a message yesterday telling you guys that BG and BP were upgrading the server, but it didn't get through. Nuts.

I've noticed this for the past few weeks, it quite frequently slowed down to a crawl on the weekends.
