weaknesses in locking threads?

If you take a look at the "blade chaser" thread in the OT forum. You'll see I've managed to bypass the "click" on the thread. Now I'm not gonna say how I did it, but it was very very simple (don't worry I'm not some evil hacker type person )and I'm a little concerned that some of the trolls we get on our lovely forums are going to figure this out and continue their annoying threads regardless. I'm not sure who would be best to email regarding this so I'll leave this post here and see which mod asks for me to email them. But I believe something should be done that would be capable of stopping this from happening again.

well if this is true then me and my fellow mods at my forum will have to pay this loophole more attention. I can't have people posting in topics which i've already locked now can i

It's not a really big weakness. What happened was: Blade Chaser clicks Post Reply a couple of seconds before the mod hits the Lock button. When Blade finished typing his reply, he clicks Post Reply and it is posted even after the thread is locked. Happens to me all the time before I became a mod . The thread is completely secure afterwards.

And if the slip-in reply was too inapropriate, any mod could reopen the thread, remove/edit the slipped-in, and re-lock the thread. No big deal.

You're 21!? Are you sure you didn't reverse the digit order?

Careful what you wish... You just might get it.
