Is it just me?

Most of the time, I go to TLR and do my buisness and all is well. However, sometimes without aparent reason a page takes quite a long time (up to 30 seconds sometimes) to load, even over broadband. Somtimes they don't load ever, and I get the explorer error page perhaps 2 out of 3 times. For the rest the progress bar just moves slower and slower and stops.

Is there anything I can do about this (Doubt it) and does anybody else have a similer problem? It's done this to me forever, but It just now occured to me to post it here.

I see this too. I always copy my post to clipboard BEFORE submit.
Some times things really get munged, then what I do is:

1. close the browser. (ALL windows)
2. sometimes I even use task manager to make SURE it's closed!
3. start browser & purge cache and cookies
4. load the forum, with a lower 'show topics from' time.

In fact, I had to do this to post THIS! works every time!

@Warlord Bob: no good, sometimes TLR just hangs my browser. no goin back.

@Froboz - Try hitting the back button. It saves everything you type, so you only have to copy if it doesn't work

Thanks guys

@bob that tends not to work...if you step back and the click post you always get the error "message already posted", even though it hasn't.

@froboz this works for me:

1. click "reply"
2. type reply
3. copy message to clipboard
4. attempt to post message
5. on receipt of error, hit "back" twice on your browser
6. click "reply"
7. paste message
8. post message

works every time, and doesn't involve you shutting down your browser. As I mentioned in reply to Bob, if you hit "back" once instead of twice and simply try reposting, the system thinks you've already posted the message. Bizarre but true.

Hope that helps!

@Grom - ya, I've noticed that. I was saying that you only have to copy things ti clipboard if they don't work the first time. They are not lost forever if it doesn't load. I like your method though! I usualy just clip it and wait a few min.
