Who''s Online?

Whenever I hang out at the fourms, I wonder who eles is online. But I have to click on "home" scroll down and click on "who's online" or whatever it's called.

My question is why isn't it on the bottem of the fourms? It would be much more convieant.

I may get stamped on by admin for advertising, that wasn’t my plan but if you have a look at the Jolt forums, there is an item at the top of each forum that tells you who is browsing it.

It shouldn’t be too difficult to do something similar. (Said with the confidence that only a person who has no idea how its done can achieve).

Ya, on EZboard, it has the same thing. That would also be a useful thing to have.

We have that on WP forums, just wondering, if we host this Web why the hell isnt it similar here? Also I wondering do WP actually have anything to do with the building of this website? See it was long b 4 I became WP that all that stuff was sorted. any admin or staff care to tell us? If we do have something to do with this site I'll go nag at Dev again

I'm not sure what WP is, but if memory serves, Bargib coded most of TLR.

Yes, I’m sure it was bargib who did the coding, I was on another forum the other day, we were discussing the efficiency of the code, trying to speed things up, but a decision was reached that it was close to optimum.

Anyway, lets go back on topic and talk about why we can't see who's online when we're in the fourms.

WP is The 101st Wolf Pack.

Pretty damn famous in SL and it says hosted by us if no one has noticed, but I havnt a clue if that means we DO anything to it :p But whatever, it would be good to see who is online.

I posted a very similar query about who's online, (16/09 TLR Website -item 10).
Interesting how things come around.

well u can only have the thread deiscritions so long
but it does not take up alot of room
so they can scoot the stuff on the right over more to the left and have a list of whos online

btw how did u find that?
i too did not know it existed

there are three ways we can describe the Starlancer forums if TLR was a town.....
they are either the ghettos, the old folk homes, or the graveyard

I found it out by reading all of the things on the front page and then saw the link.
