"Jump To Forum" pull downs need to move for more e

I have been relying more and more on the "Jump To Forum" pull down menus to go to different forums easily. But I always go to the wrong end of the page to use it because its different whether you're in a forum or a thread.

I dislike being at the top of a full forum with the recent past 30 days of posts (thats my preference) with most recent first then having to go to the bottom of the page to pull down to another forum.

And conversely, being in a thread reading in chronological order, ending my reading on the bottom of the page of posts, but now that darn pull down to another forum is at the top of the page!

All I'm asking at least is that it remains in one position in forums and threads. But my preference would be the pull down would be at the top of the forums and the bottom of the threads. Or even better, both top and bottom for both.

When I first noticed this contradictory position of the "Jump to Forum" Pulldown menu it was a nuisance. But now I can't stop getting frustrated by it.

When I read from this site, I ALWAYS end up on the wrong end of where the pulldown menu is! ARRRGH!

Sorry, it's like an itch. It only bothers you the most when you actually take notice of it.

Were you ahead of me for awhile? I think it so. We are now opposite, just as the forum pulldowns are opposite of where one would be on their screen when reading.

yah, the "Jump to" should be on the top and the bottem. Not either.

After you post something, the back button doesn't work unless you skip over your new post. I have come to like the pull down, except for the fact is in the opposite postions of where it should be.
