Big empty space below all forum pages?

Is it just me, or is there always a big (more than one page), empty space at the end of any forum webpage? Even while I'm typing this, the page is about 5 times longer than it should be

I'm using IE6 SP1.

It has something to do with how I build up the HTML

Yeah - is it a problem for you? The HTML does render significantly faster because it is made the way it is...

Well, in my 4+ years of internet browsing, I've never seen a webpage with this *feature*...

Of course, it isn't showstopping, but it's hard to believe that it isn't a huge bug.
