If-someone-joins-your-server,-and-doesn't-have-the-mod-installed-(correctly-even),-they-will-be-able-to-get-as-far-as-launching-from-Mahattan-and-they-will-crash-to-desktop.
Same-goes-for-people-who-have-the-mod-installed-and-want-to-play-on-a-non/B5-server,-once-they-attempt-to-launch-from-a-base,-they-will-crash-to-desktop.-I've-even-had-it-crash-just-loading-up-into-the-base.
Solution-:---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Do-a-repair-or-full-reinstallation-of-FL.--Then-make-a-copy-of-the-FL-folder.-Browse-to-the-copy's-EXE-folder-and-make-a-shortcut-for-Freelancer.exe.--Rename-that-shortcut-to-something-like-"Freelancer-B5"-and-drag-it-to-your-desktop.--Now-install-the-B5-mod-to-the-2nd-copy-of-Freelancer.--After-doing-so,-open-up-"Freelancer-B5"-folder,-and-look-for-a-"Freelancer"-folder.--Open-it-up,-select-the-contents-of-that-folder-and-paste-it-into-the-"Freelancer-B5"-folder.--Click-on-apply-to-all-when-it-asks-you-if-you-want-to-overwrite.
To-play-on-non-B5-servers,-double-click-on-"Freelancer"-on-your-desktop,-and-to-play-on-B5-servers,-use-the-"Freelancer-B5"-shortcut.--Yes,-this-is-a-dirty-fix,-and-for-those-of-you-that-use-FLMM,-it-will-only-work-for-the-original-installation-of-Freelancer,-so-make-sure-you-know-which-installation-you-will-want-to-use-FLMM-with,-possibly-having-to-rename-installation-folder-and-copy-respectively.--Hope-this-help-those-of-you-wanting-the-best-of-both-worlds...
