I jumped into the Omacron Alpha system from the B5 system, turned around, saw a nomad fleet, at the game quit without giving any error messages or anything.

Me too. I shot a sunslayer at a Nomad Battleship and the game crashed without an error message

well it works from the autosave but not through the gate.

BTW what is with all the nomads?
