Eve and Freelancer are too very diffent games, allthough there are similarities.
In eve they have created a kind of anarcyonline/DAoC/etc in space.
Whereas Freelancer is more or less a spacesim/shooter/tradegame -action kind of game with more direct control of your ship.

I'm personally gonna buy both!

EVE is more like E&B than FL. Its combat consists of pressing a key on the keyboard.

LOL, how about this:

EVE shares much more qualities with E&B than it does with FL. Its simplified combat consists of fiercly tapping a weapons key on the keyboard to fire your weapons.
