This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

The first step to success for Nintendo will be to mae games less family-oriented. All they have if Pikman and Mario. Now, Rogue Squadron was the lifesaver for Gamecube, but even that, as a Lucas Arts game, is not a nice bloodfest. And the system has plenty of power to give better graphics faster than Xbox or PS2. There's really no reason why they don't have some really nice, really graphic games. They don't seem to understand that Americans buy Gamecube, too. All their games have a distinct Japanese touch to them. Pikmin, Pokemon, etc. I don't have a Gamecube, but I know people who do and they all say the only reason they have the Gamecube anymore (as opposed to getting rid of it) is Metroid: Prime, which, from what I've heard, is really good. Just a thought.

Next Nintendo system will have:
(1) a hard drive
(2) broadband out of the box
(3) wireless ethernet and bluetooth support (probably proprietary)
(4) DVD playback (possibly HDVD, but this may be too expensive)
The next Nintendo system will:
(1) Not change Nintendo's position in the industry
(2) probably be their last.
Keep in mind these are just predictions.

I don't expect Nintendo to leave the scene any time soon. They used to have a reputation of making games that were a cut above everyone else's, hopefully they can regain some of that prestige. If they can release enough killer games that are only available from them it will help. I'm looking forward to Zelda and one of these days Mario Kart will come out.
