X-Beyond

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

X-Beyond

I recently purchased X-beyond: the frontier from a store and am having problems running it. I was wondering if anyone else has the game and had problems running it. my problem is that I get through the training stuff all fine and dandy, I jump, the big ship passes by and the next thing i know the computer is saying "we are being hailed" after that the game immediately quits to desktop> suggestions?

Why not ask on the X forums? Seriously, they would be the first place I'd ask.

I believe you'll soon get your game started. But, be aeare - you'll have to do HOURS of trading before any action, so - no shooting for a very loooong time. However, I did some hex editing to get the amount of cash I needed, and after that the game was really cool. Except for the fact that there never was any real ending. And, yes, X2 forum is a place where you can discuss XBTF too. I tried. Worked fine.

Thats fine, I prefer to trade and explore to fighting anyway, though a good fighting over some relic is fun
