Question: 2 installs?
This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Hey, I've just never had a reason to try this, so I don't know... can you install a game twice in different directories so I could have one modded for SP, and one clean for MP, or would it cause registry issues or something?
Maybe when you got two harddisks, or create partitions on one hardisk.
But maybe it works on one HDD, but i dunno.

create partitions on one hardisk
quick question, does your original HDD space actually shrink after partioning or do they actually increase after making partition, some say it increases, i personally think its shinks coz i got this figure from my hdd
2.33
3.51
3.89
3.89
4.96
Total-14.69
it seems waaay to low for a 20 GB HDD
argh i'm never gonna get paid, Goodbye a million credits
Most 20 Gb drives should be around 18.4 - 19.4 Gb, i'd say you've probably got some unpartitioned space on your disk. However what in gods name possesed you to partition a 20 gb hard drive 5 ways??? Personally I wouldn't have bothered at all, just as long as you defrag it once a fortnight it shouldn't give you any grief.
I don't really run this place but I have an understanding with the people who do.

but somehow, my dad was tinkering with the comp and got two os's into the comp. mine's a 40gb, with 38 tangible gigs.
he got an XP and win 2000 on it. the XP is korean. seeing that that's possible, i think installing twice shouldn't be too hard. why don't you just copy onto a different parition like one b4 me did ? but i see no need. and what on earth do you want to do with 5 HDDs ? you'd have drive C, D, E, F, G and then H would be your cd drive. A would be your 3.44 floppy, and B do you know what B is? 50 points to the correct person.
Science is knowledge.
Knowledge is power.
Time is money.
power = work/time
therefore, knowledge= work/money
therefore, money = work/knowledge
therefore, money is inversely proportional to knowledge.
therefore,
The more knowledge you have, the less money you have.
Prepare for the worst, for you have read the worst.

B: is usually used for an extra Floppy, either 3.5 or 5.25....
Historically....anyway...I haven't tried changing that.
I used to have, back in the day....
A: 3.5"
B: 5.25"
C: HDD D: HDD > All three real hard drives
E: HDD /
F: CD ROM (Before CDRW drives)

Bo, I dont have an unpartitioned HDD space, I used Partionmagic and no i dont see any unpartioned space, pesonally I choose 5 why?
its simply because
c:SYSTEM (5.00G
e:APPLICATION(4.00G
f:GAMES(3.00G
g:MUSIC(3.50G
hOWNLOADS(2.33G
x:CDRW
y:CDROM
it makes maintenance much easier.installed Programs do not make my C Drive occupied and i can easily delete uninstalled leftover programes. BTW XP has massive amount of files system that will take time for Antivirus scans and that sucks.if i know my music files never got changed so why bother Defragmenting?
it takes waay alot longer with high GBs.
argh i'm never gonna get paid, Goodbye a million credits
