Yep, can't wait for it. By the looks of it, Deus Ex 2 might use the Unreal warfare engine better than unreal2 did.

Oh good lord, yes. I just hope that Warren Spector's right hand man, Harvey Smith, hasn't changed the gameplay model so much as to ruin it. In case you didn't know, Warren Spector is not the lead designer on this game (which he was for the first). He's more of an advisor. Read an interview with Harvey Smith here. There's also a link to a slightly earlier interview with Spector on that page.

But yeah, the game looks stunning. For some reason it's much more exciting seeing a game like Deus Ex look this good, than it is seeing your average FPS like Unreal 2 look this good.

Up till now everything looks very promising.

I've played Deus Ex and I loved it, so yes....I'll definitely keep a close eye on Deus Ex 2

First one was a brilliant game, one of the best storylines in a game ever. Deus Ex 2 will definately be on my shopping list.

Got me Deus Ex when it was first released and I still think it has one of the best stories ever. I just love conspiracies and such and YEAH I´m looking forward to the second part.

I was just reading about the sequel and it will be using a heavily modified Unreal 2 engine. I wonder though if it will be a big hit with Warren Spector gone.

guptasa, did you check out the links I posted above? Warren Spector isn't *entirely* removed from the dev process, but his role is nevertheless an incredibly small one this time around.
