Adam and Joe

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Adam and Joe

Anybold who has watched the Adam and Joe Show shown on Channel 4 in the UK, will know that thet like making spoofs of TV and Flim using Toys.

One such spoof was Stuffed Trek: The Toy Generation, which had the crew of the Enterprise-D (I can't remember what it was called in the spoof), encountering the Bjorn Borg Collective

here's a Pic:

It was very funny to say the least.

Top-Gun, British humor is sometimes difficult to understand at times. But I must say I do enjoy Mr. Bean and Monty Python. "It's just a flesh wound."

I came. I saw. I conquered. And sometimes get conquered.

Glad you like British Humor, well some anyway.

One of the things that Adam and Joe are best known for is their Star Wars Spoofs using Star Wars Toys and putting their Mouths onto the toys. Very Funny

...sorry about reviving this one, really bored...

Adam and Joe have a new show in the U.K. at the moment called Adam and Joe Go Tokyo. I have seen the first 2 eisodes and it is pretty funny.

A question for any japanese lancers :

As part of their attempts to get famous in japan, adam and joe went to a book signing in a limo with two sisters (sorry i cant remember their names - maybe someone who saw it and has better memory can help ) who promptly ditched them in the crowd Are these two real? After that they showed some footage of an alleged celebrity show which they (adam and joe) got slagged off in. It is really hard to tell if stuff on this show is real.

They also had a really excitable fish expert guy with a yellow pufferfish hat - is he real? I hope so, he kicked ass.

Whoa, man... For a minute there I thought Z is back... Then I saw the date...
C'mon Z, stop this nonsence already... Just show up, tell us what's the problem is, maybe we can help...

Careful what you wish... You might just get it.

adam and joe rock, thyre so goddamn like me in real life its not even funny, i just watch their shows going...thats me, oh god thats me, thats so me...and everyone else is ... arcon, thats you...thats so you,

british humour rocks, it can be a LOT more darker, yet we only get to see some of american humour, the 'friends' the 'fraiser', the highly repetative and predictable one liners. there could be some pearls out there but we brits dont know it yet. mr bean though? c'mon!!!!

Does any of you British guys ever watched the "Sketch show"? With the tall bold guy. It's absolutely great! To bad they stopped broadcasting it in Holland.
Really great sketches!

'The/That Sketch Show' (steve coogan aka alan partridge was a producer) was on ITV a while ago, its being repeated on come cable channel now. It is really hit and miss tho, i have told people to watch it then they mocked me 'cause they said it was crap. Some gems tho - like the one where the guy is insisting to a female friend that this other girl she saw him with was just for casual sex - no friendship/talking involved...

Some really tired ones tho - 'I'd like a room for two nights' Camera pans across to reveal two guys in armour....

There is/was something on BBC2 at the moment called Velvet Soup. It is sort of a cross between Jam and The Sketch Show. Chris Morris fans (arcon i'm guessing you) will probably find it a bit tame tho.

EDIT - Steve Coogans real name is not Alan Partridge....

Anyone seen "Coupling"? Funny British show, but only had 6 episodes.

Post Wed Jun 11, 2003 10:41 am

Coupling has had 2 series'. But a typical British series is only 6 episodes long.

I am a big Steve Coogan fan, I love Alan Partridge "Ah Ha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Fist of Fun was great "Green Jelly"

Anyone seen the Live Floor Show, that was on BBC2 on Saturday nights at around 23:00 a few months ago? great show
