I used to watch the old series, when I was about 10.

In the UK it was called Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles

Yep, I used to watch the cartoon when I was about 10 or 11, but I'm really not interested in it anymore. One thing does come to my mind which is actually pretty funny. I just remembered one of the Live Action movies of TMNT and there's one part that one of those green freaks walks through the doorway and his sword hits the door and actually bends (heh he, green rubber freaks with rubber swords !) I remembered those movies, because IMO they were the lamest ever !!

yea, the TMNT originally started in 1984 as a bloody comic book. the new cartoon is trying to mirror the comic as much as it can, minus the blood of course. but the episode DID end in an off camera execution of a gang member (shredder got to him)
