This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Well now that I'm in 8th grade I have to do my 8th grade speech. As I stated before, it is on Embryonic Stem Cell Research. I have most of it written out and I found most of the research. Now I have to do the Power Point. My presentation is in January, but my material is due in December. Anyway, if I put a video on my powerpoint it will increase my score. I was thinking of putting a short clip of President Bush doing an announcement on it. The video can't be that long because the time frame is 5-7 minutes. So it can only be about 1 minute 2 minutes at most. Anyone have an idea or think the bush speach is good. And any tipes for my speech would be helpful. Thanks.

only if you provide the response to the speech or some other video from those on the other side of the issue. that's called objectivity in journalism anyway, and it will make your work look more professional. so before presenting any views from either side you should frame it with a context of 'some believe this, some believe that' and provide two perspectives (example, Christopher Reeves speaking pro-stem cell research vs Governor Bush speaking anti-stem cell research)

the content doesn't matter too much, you could just clip a couple 'soundbyte' length sentences from different speeches if you need to condense the argument (remember to display when/where the sampled speeches were given at some point in the display, particularly the bibliography/sources section)

powerpoint in 8th grade? whats this world coming to!?
(please learn Flash immediately...lol powerpoint i hate it so)

I can't watch/listen to Bush talk anymore...that look on his face that says 'Hey I'm trying to look concerned here..... but I'm not 100% sure what it is that I'm talking about", well it's infuriating to say the least.
