As you get older, it will come more often, its called Nostalgia. Not much of a cure for it though.

Indeed, it'll come on thicker, faster and involve you spending exhorbitant amounts of money in a vain effort to recapture your youth. Which never actually works of course, but in no way shape or form stops you from trying.

until one day when you turn 40 and you realise that what everyone else younger than you calls nostalgia, and up till now you've passed off as such, is actually the realisation that the modern world is horrible and everything really was better before!

hence why in Tawakalnistan (although we embrace new useful technology, our culture is very old-fashioned and traditional, and that's the way we like it! no strangers bringing new ideas with their new roads, keeping local shops and services for local people, we'll have no trouble here.
