I agree with you final, if i spend $500 it's so i can keep my house another month.
as far as a cell phone I have one, but it's a $20 prepaid cell. I may work in a call center for a cell company now but that doesn't mean I want one of them from that company it's just doesn't make any sense economically for me to pay $40-100 a month and sign a two year contract to only use a phone only 4-10 hours a month, right?

Sure, I'd love to have an iPhone. I just don't want to pay for it. If I ever do end up getting one, it'll be next-gen where they fix the problems with the original and wait for a huge price drop, and a service plan that isn't ridiculous.

It's amazing that people want the lates gaget that comes down the pike. People sem to forget that the first of any item made will cost more and will always be changed by the time the second version comes out.

As to cell phones, I have one due to work. It's payed for by them, I won't buy one myself. It replaced the pager I use to have to carry, but I still hate it, and tend to piss the folks at work off when I refuse to answer right away while driving. I truly belive it should be against the law to use one while driving.

@Taw, they could put Vista and try to give it to me FREE and I would still refuse it.

dumb people make good hardware cheaper because they reduce the demand for it, according to my voodoo economics flow chart - therefore the more people buy ipods the less flash cards, mp3/ogg/wma/mp4 players, and peripherals will cost. and hey, if they want to cede their property rights in a contract where they pay the same as retail.... well that's fine too, it's their (ill informed) choice after all

Who has seen Ilamp, Itelephone, Idog, Ibox. meh, too many I's for me, I was only willing to go to Ipod, but that's really the last step for me when it comes to MAC crap.

I won't get it. For 1 i can't afford the thing. (No job. Not old enough yet. ) Two even if I could afford it I still wouldn't get it.

I simplely just don't like cell phones, or sometimes even normal phones at times. (I hate telemarketers calling 40 times an day. No joke i counted once. Yes I was very bored that day ) I'm kinda the odd teenager because most teens where I live LOVE their cell phones, and would die if they lost it.

Oh and btw when I looked at the title I though this was about EATING an apple a day not the Iphone lol.
