I''m 13. I Still Believe in Santa Claus.

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

I''m 13. I Still Believe in Santa Claus.

I'm 13 years old and I still believe in Santa Claus. I don't know why, I just do. I've believed in him since I was three. My parents never told me he wasn't real, I asked just yesterday and they insist he exists. I don't think I'm the only teenager who believes in him, though I doubt I'll find someone else whop believes in him here.

I just wanted to get this off of my chest, so I didn't have to keep it a secret anymore.

It's okay kid, you'll grow out of it.

*Shrugs* Many people have faith in things that cannot be proven. Does that therefore make their beliefs incorrect? Not necessarily. After all, people believed in the Rabbit-God for quite some time, and we have little evidence that he really exists .

Ah, but that would only be the case if everyone who has ever acknowledged his existence consumes/has consumed GB!

I'll just say this, parents are not infalliable. Blind faith in your parents wisdom can sometimes cloud your ability to think for yourself.

bravo Stormtrooper, I believe in him too. I have no choice, it's the only way that I might get some decent Christmas presents - 20 years of cheap soap on a string and slippers just aren't cutting it anymore.

As has been said, it's not a big deal and you'll grow out of it. You're half way there in realising that it's even an issue. After all, a good 50% of the world - at least three billion people - believe in a guy going by various names who can no more be proven to exist than santa claus. But that's a (scary) story for another time and place.

I thought the only way was to buy them for yourself.

sadly that option is denied to me, Tawakalnistan's handbag/shoes/perfume budget absorbs most of my disposable income hence I'm forced to rely on Father Christmas - but last year I got an orange, a rattle, a ball and a used bus ticket!

Taw, start hiding part of you're money under your least favorite book, then sit on your hand untill you can't feel it and go buy something. It'll be like a present from an unknown limb

Well I would believe in a guy who gives prezzies and has flyin' deer quicker than some of the crap I am asked to believe in....and anyone who assumes that was another swipe at the religious here are just paranoid, there are many other things I could have meant, like...erm...like...stuff...yeh!

Well i'm not going to lie. My initial reaction was "Wow thats uhm, different...". Its kinda like your plugging your ears to reality and going "La-la-la-la".

However then i recall i've believed in some things people would generally consider rather moronic. Even if this does baffle me considerably i gotta say: Think and believe what ya want, got one life might as well live it your way.

*shrug*
My two cents.
