This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Help!!!!!

My computer refuses to connect to most websites.
Having tried everything I and some other people could think of, we finally installed a new harddrive on the computer this morning, removing the old one. A fresh installation of windows, it currently only have AVG installed.
Still, the problem continues.
Its not a firewall blocking access
Its not the ISP or the physical wire - when the telephone wire is plugged into Spix's lapty it works just fine.
So the problem lies with my computer...anyone have suggestions?

Maybe your motherboard? Or the network card if it's not already builtinto the computer motherboard.

It's connected to a lan, and could see and be seen by the other computers.

Wouldn't the Lan also be affected if it was one of those?

Turn off your computers and reboot the modem and router by unplugging their power for at least 30 seconds, then plug them back in, and turn your computers back on.
