Just thought I''d say hi...

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Just thought I''d say hi...

So "hi".

Been wandering through the sites lately and realised that I had not provided any worthless spam to the O.T. in a while. I suppose the Great Esquilaxativian Wars eventually took their toll on me after all. Well, that or the Tawakalnastanian poetry.

You may not to be labeled as a lurker anymore if you read the definition on Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lurker

*shghs and shuffles back out*

Highly unreliable source there. Anyhooo my lurkridity is relative. Compared to the number and regularity of my previous posts what I do now is better described as lurking than most other tags available. That and "shuffles back into infrequent visit and rarely posting pseudo-lurkerdom" would not have the same ring to it.

Guess I'll have to agree with you especially since I have been a member here since June of 2003 (check my profile for verification) and this is only the 9th time I have commented in the forums. I guess if you were to label me it might be the one called, Benign lurkers: "Most lurkers, however, are either shy, feel inadequately educated on a given topic, or are uncomfortable expressing their thoughts in written form on email lists. They enjoy reading others' posts and responses to them, but refrain from adding their own contributions. They have been known to send comments off-list, to individual posters, which are frequently positive." Although now I have the opportunity to continue my schooling now that the farm is in much better shape, so I don't feel so inadequately educated anymore but some people spend an aweful lot of time to keep this site running and the front page current so I like coming here when I can to see what's happening and sometimes it makes my day more enjoyable.

Excellent, I pop in just to say hi and drag a phantom lurker out of the closet eh? I can send you a cloak I no longer use if you wish as protection from the light? Now your responses to my one post count for over 22% of your total count. You can't begin to realise how important it makes me feel that someone can be here that long and dedicate 22% of thier posts to me.

Now that your credentials have been established it does however make me look wholey inadequate as a lurker even on the watered down level described earlier. Not to mention the fact that my massively egotitical uber spamming psychological profile comes no where near that of the a-typical lurker speciman.

Ah well, I reckon that "random shuffer inner and mumbler of banalities" shall have to do.

Hello fellow lurkers.

I still come here occasionally.

"I can send you a cloak I no longer use if you wish as protection from the light?"

He's speaking code! he's got a cloak! A CLOAK!, BAN HIM! Blasphemy! Blasphemy! Death to all blasphemers!

yeah, that was a little . . . weird.

Hey Final. I suppose I am a bit like athletes foot really, you may think I am gone.

As fer the cloak, I am a Druid, what do you expect me to wear when sacrificing wenches, a pink tutu? *ponders image of self in pink tutu and nods appreciatively*

somebody want spam i got some here

Post Fri Apr 27, 2007 8:42 am

Hmmm, is that to be considered an addition to a thread which although not exaclty producing levels of philosophical debate on any groundbreaking level is at least giving members a reason to pop in and say hello or is it to be viewed as someone taking an unnecessarily high moral stance and doing it in a sarcastic fashion?

Ah well, perhaps I was better off lurking after all...

Post Fri Apr 27, 2007 9:04 am

You just don't have a sense of humor.

Post Fri Apr 27, 2007 10:53 am

I don't know, it takes a fair sense of humour to claim that richard's post was "taking the high moral" ground let alone setting it up as the height of sarcasim. richard has probably seen enough of my previous posts to know that bigger tins of spam than the one in his picture have been sighted in the locality of my posts.

Anyhooo, it really is threads like this that have a tendency to draw hello from some old names, the fact that TheOne has seen fit to post here is justification enough for the existence of the thread and the biggest item of spam is in fact young mr sabatino's (hi ya by the way ) post so...*puts hands beside head and makes wavy jasticulations while sticking tongue out*.(there must be an easier way to describe that one)
