Changing Majors
I just came to a realization today. As much as I love computers, and working on them, I don't really want a career in the IT field. When I started college, I thought that was what I wanted, but it really wasn't. My performance this semester is proof of that. I'm doing terrible in two of my classes, which I may not pass at all, and the business class that I'm in just isn't what it's cracked up to be. Going to college was the best idea I've had, and still is. I've made bad decisions early on, though, that could haunt me for a while. So, I'm going to be switching from IT/IS to something in literature or history. I like writing because the only real limit is my imagination. I also like history, because, it's...well, history. I'm going to talk to some academic advisors about it. But I'm going to get my generals out of the way before I really get into my new major. UVSC is going to be Utah Valley University next summer, so it's going to look good on my resume when I graduate. I'm taking summer off so I don't get burnt out. So, that's my plan.
