I need a new joy stick
This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Any ideas?
I use an M$ Sidewinder Force Feedback 2 that I got when StarLancer came out, and it's given me years of faithful service. Without doubt the best joystick I've ever had. I've had Logitechs and Saiteks and Thrustmasters, I even had a Thrustmaster Flight Yoke once, they were all good when i got them but over time they've all died, yet the Sidewinder just keeps on going.
It's my favourite not just because of it's peerless reliabilty but also because it's big and chunky and really simple to set up and use, and it fits my hand well. Other joysticks seem designed for children, theyre so small and the buttons are too close together.
A couple of years ago I had a meeting with the UK M$ hardware rep and (amongst other things) asked him why they stopped making them and would they ever start again? Apparently M$ revisited the concept a while back but decided there just wasn't enough market for them to start production again, and the tooling was destroyed once production finished. Frak.

Personally, I recommend Logitech. Although their hardware has a distinct tendency to lose aethetic appeal (Pasically lose paint and the finishing), i've found that they are nothing if not reliable.
Of the few products i've purchased from them is a Wingman Interceptor Joystick, purchased in 1999. After eight years, apart from some interface and legacy hardware issues, it still runs as good as it did then (Probably better, considering it was running on a 586 with a 2Gb HDD and 32Mb of RAM)
