Taw - I've won my share of battles, but you have the advantage because I am easier to mock. My relatives agree with the latter statement *sigh*.

Merry Christmas!!!!
This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

TET - Pah, more of your inaccurate guess work. And what do you do for a living, pray tell? Are you even old enough to be employed? Go on, impress me... *Waits patiently*

Silly wabbit, 'course I'm old enough to be employed!
Anyway, just because I don't have a steady, permanent income (what with being in school and all) doesn't mean I can't make snide remarks/insinuations about yours (given that you have no such excuse, Mr. my-computer-was-outdated-in-the-copper-ages).

TET - I see. So what you are saying is that you are still at school (presumably secondary school), are therefore approximately 10 years younger than I, haven't yet completed your elementary English studies, and live in another country that contains a different variety of English than my own. Interesting. And these factors give you the authority to correct my English? *Shakes head in amusement* Once again my original comment regarding your temerity is proven. *Stretches* I think my work here is done .

First of all, the very fact that you insist your English is perfect invites criticism and correction.
Second of all, I fail to see how completing any English course (except English as a foreign language) would give one additional knowledge. The course does, obviously, revolve around literature rather than the technical aspects of the language such as grammar, syntax and vocabulary. I could have carried English through to a PhD and still get away with putting apostrophes in plurals.
EDIT: Oh, and by the way, Esq, varieties of English are irrelevant when the language is written down. The rules of grammar etc. remain the same.

There are too many rabbits to account for Shroud, so you may have picked up one or two. Watch out tonight...
TET - Firstly, I don't remember ever stating that I possessed "perfect" English (if I did I will castigate myself) as nobody possesses perfect English and we all make mistakes (even I, now that I have left Olympus). Secondly, in relation to my comment about my English, I was being facetious on a number of levels.
In relation to your second comment, what the hell do you mean? How can completing a course in *any* subject fail to teach you something? That's the whole purpose of studying in the first place! *Shakes head* I'm not even going to point out the remaining flaws in THAT statement. As for the rest... I can't be bothered debating this any further, as we do not seem to be making any progress in our discussion. In fact, I think I'll just ignore you from now on. *Hops off whistling*

And I wasn't?

English study is excellent for teaching you how to analyse litarary works to find nonexistant hidden meanings and whatnot. It's just not terribly useful for teaching you how to write English. History is more useful for teaching the technical side of the language.
