Starshatter - The Gathering Storm?

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Starshatter - The Gathering Storm?

Hi guys

I just came across this game, by complete incident
http://www.starshatter.com

I was just curious as to wether or not anyone has tried playing it? The thing that caught my eye was simply that the people who made the game, made it specifically to cater for those interested in modding the game, they have for instance provided some modding tools on their website and explainations of how to code correctly.

Hmmm

It doesnt look all that bad if you ask me but im a Freelancer lover and was just interested to know if anyone else here has played it.

The guy who made it used to post here, so a lot of us tried out the demo. I thought it was alright but it really did lack the polish of bigger games. However considering the early builds was just Milo working from home in his spare time, it was pretty bloody impressive.

Sector 13 looks pretty good. There are however some issues that I have with the ship modelling. If your going to create a futuristic spaceship version of the super duper ultra-sleek Russian Sukhoi 35 for use in a game, your going to be needing the model to consist of a little bit more than 100 polygons!

Take this image for example

Apart from that though it looks pretty good!
