I find the whole matter sickening. Young "Stars" have absolutely NO clue what they want in life, marry as a joke, divorce at the drop of a hat, have illegitimate kids. What they need is to be taken over the knee and given a spanking and sent to their rooms to think it over.

poor choice of words back there, colleague FD, but I heartily agree with the sentiments. The lack of basic morality and personal commitment and standards displayed by young people these days is appalling but it's hardly surprising when influential role models such as Spears behave in such a manner

Not the brightest bulb in the rack, our BS. To prove to the world that KF wasn't just lavishing his attentions on her for her money, she gifted him something like $3MM (?) outright thus, in her mind, *erasing* the notion that he was a lowlife gold-digger.
And in a sense she was right. She turned him into a spendthrift gold-digger.
And, uh, Mr. Taw. I find it hard to believe that you would think that the young Miss Aguilera, uh, was a shining example of female rect titude.

ha-ha. what i said was that she was better looking and more talented, i didn't say that I perforce approved of her. You're putting words in my mouth.
I did find this, and it sums up what would be imo a better way of life for young Britney.

Nah, shoore if it were not for chicks like Brit how else could we all go around spouting our own brand of moral superiority? Fair play to her and her willingness to be the butt end of our indignation and our whipping girl, a phrase which I am equally shoore many of the locals will be only too pleased to turn around to "fair play to her girly butt and its willingness to be whipped".
