Hey guys, thanks for the birthday wishes!

I do have some news that I've been keeping from you - that I've been planning to go to Japan and go back to school (my study in Holland was interrupted by some personal reasons and I chose to get back home to Indonesia and work as office temp and freelance translator) I could not go back to Holland because of visa troubles (they don't allow students to exceed 6 years of stay) so I had to find another school. Found one willing to accept my credits transfer at the last minute - and it's in Kyoto.

So I flew here on tourist visa (I'm in the process of changing it to student visa) and I just arrived yesterday - spent my birthday shopping for new apartment. I speak almost no Japanese and I'm practically illiterate here - in Holland, at least, they had same letters as English. I'm going to have to start a rigorous Japanese learning. But I believe my Japanese will end up better than my Dutch - damn Dutch people speak good English and got me too lazy to learn properly

. The atmosphere will be a good motivator.

So that's all for now. Internet access if fairly good so I think I'll pop in quite frequently. Thanks again, guys.
